The Hatusow

MIDDLE TUCKER, Ga. -- Last night, I went to Drew's game, where a new nickname was coined -- "Hatusow," a combination of Hal and Mike Matusow, after Sham decried all the donkiness of the game.

The first evidence of that was when his KK was called with Ax, and of course an A hit.

I think he was ahead just about every time he was all-in, and yet bottomed out each time in near-Fuel fashion.

"Shamusow" also is a correct nickname for him now.

Cat did ok, lucking out in a O8 hand with bottom set that held out despite some wicked draws. I lost some of that back to Ben in another Omaha hand in which Ben was all in but I had enough odds to call with 10 outs twice. I hit my hand on the turn, a flush, but Ben made his boat on the river.

Oh, well. Cashed out a half buy-in, enough for the Lookouts shirt (3-0) to have a win.

  • The only time I wasn't ahead was on the last hand. Beer + Jager + Red Bull + dropping 4 buy ins getting all of my money in with the best of it with nothing to show for it = Hatusow reaction of Hellmuthian proportions. That being said, it was good to see that many people up for game.
