Full Tilt Ironman -- Online Tell?
In one of the Muddywaters (Andrew Wiggins) videos on Cardrunners, he mentions the peculiarity of Full Tilt's "Ironman" promotion on avatars. Basically you get a ring-shaped "medal" next to your avatar for playing a certain amount of points consecutive days in a row.
Wiggins mentions how this practice may actually "out" grinders, who likely are solid players since they are able to play day in and day out. It's like putting a bell around the neck of a kitty.
It's like the people who wear online Internet caps and jackets in live poker rooms -- why do you want to advertise that you may actually know what you're doing???
Anyway, something to think about.

Interesting... though usually when I see people wearing that stuff in real cardrooms, my first impression is they probably have no clue what they're doing.
