Back to Middle Tucker

I've been really bad about not playing in Middle Tucker -- the last time I was at a home game there was Feb. 20. So it was time I went up there. It helped that gas is 13 cents a gallon cheaper than it is in town.

It was a great time -- we played Euchre for a while until Sham showed up. I made some chips on Matt in Pineapple double flop when I aggressively limp-3 bet pre-flop and then pushed the rest of my chips on the double flop with JJ over one flop and decidedly under a QQx flop. Matt called with KQ, dumping a K in the process. I spiked a J on the QQ board on the river to scoop.

Later I flopped the nut flush against Josh in NLO8 to double up again. Ended the night up 3-1/2 buyins (HTC 6-2).

A Turkish tease

I had Turkey +1/2 (+210) yesterday and it was quite a tease.

First, Turkey scored a goal at the 22-minute mark. Turkey 1, Germany 0.

Then Germany tied it up at 27 minutes. OK, no problem.

Then at the 79-minute mark, it's a nailbiter with Germany 2, Turkey 1. No problem.

But when Turkey scores a tying goal at 86 minutes, I'm like w00t! Both of my Turkey bets (I also had Turkey, +1 for +130) are going to win!

My heart dropped a little when Germany scores at the 90-minute mark for Germany 3, Turkey 2.

What a game. I pushed the +1 and lost the +1/2.
