A HORSE tourney
What's the most you ever won?
You dont need to know. Learn bad habits.
Why dont I bring the chessboard up some afternoon?
I aint got the patience to play.
You got the patience to play poker.
What's different about it?
Money is what's different about it.

As part of the Memorial Day weekend celebrations, Sham invited the crew over for a HORSE tourney.
It was my first live game of the year. Five-handed, compared to the eight-handed HORSE tourney Sham hosted on Feb. 9, 2008.
It was super-fun. I hadn't played non-NLHE games in a long time. But I didn't feel like I was rusty. I took my time in the early rounds and used what I feel is a theoretical advantage in estimating the likelihood of remaining cards in the stud/razz games.
I was the shortstack for a while, especially after my set of Ts lost to Empire's flush. But I didn't Gigli the bout. I kept on fighting and ended up third, on the bubble (Braves-park 4-2).
What is exciting about this is maybe this will create a resurgence of the home game among the crew. The last time I played in a home game was at Poker Cats Arena on Sept. 8, 2008.
I've been pretty much dedicated to online poker since then but I have to admit the tourney was a great time with my friends.
