Kindle and Small stakes NL
Increasingly I've been thinking about getting Ed Miller's Small Stakes NL e-book. Of course I could get this for just my PC but was thinking it would be cool to read on a Kindle-type reading device.
If anyone has read the e-book, please let me know! Or if you have thoughts on good reading devices out there...
As a second thought, I wonder if Cardrunners videos can be downloaded into iPods as podcasts?

Unless something has changed very recently, cardrunners videos have DRM protection which means they can't be played as podcasts/have to have a live internet connection in order to play.
One of the reasons I switched to DeucesCracked recently.

That's correct: CardRunners vids need an Internet connection to play because of their DRM. DC doesn't have that restriction.
I received an e-mail today stating that Ed Miller's book is now available on the Kindle.

A friend of mine got a Kindle for Xmas, and I took a good look at hers. Although they are nice, they are expensive.
1. I believe the value comes if you read lots of books. The Kindle allows you to buy e-books (from Amazon) cheap.
2. Also you can have it read aloud to you if you can't read it (you are driving in a car, for example).
3. You can download the first chapter of a book to read and see if you like it.
If these features appeal to you, then it's a good deal. If you want it only for Ed Miller's book, then probably not worth it.

I set up a kindle for my mother in law, I thought it looked pretty nice.
Have a great new year Dan. I hope to see you Sunday.
