Pull-ups from the rim (Hawks 91, Heat 83)

The pre-game for this one was just as cool as the game itself. It was neat watching Joe Johnson practice at the 3-point line with someone on him. Like a good poker player, he really randomized his moves and you couldn't tell what he was going to do next.

Zaza Pechulia practiced free throws during the pre-game and his 1-for-3 practice effort was sort of telling for his 1-for-2 effort at the line.

Right before the introductions, Miami's Dwayne Wade pulled his head through the rim in a sort of pull-up.

During the game, I don't think I've ever seen anyone move that fast. Fortunately his spin moves did not result in a basket in the first quarter.

I've been a secret fan of Miami's Jermaine O'Neal ever since I lived in the Northwest and he was drafted by the TrailBlazers. He had a nice one-handed jam early but missed two point-blank layup attempts.

I think I am beginning to discover which seats are owned by season-ticket holders. I made my way to the lower part of Section 311 and had a group of 12 people come into my row and fill the entire row -- except my seat. lol

The Hawks are 3 wins away from making a cat happy with his 35.5 Over prop. They only have to win 3 games out of the next 24. I think I like those odds.
