Heading to Vegas!
I've registered for the Dec. 5 Rock'n'Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon. That means I'm going to Vegas!
Even better, the group that holds the series of marathons and half marathons around the country has a special challenge if you run in the Las Vegas event and then another one in Arizona six weeks later -- you get the special "Double Down" medal listed above.
It's kind of like getting an "achievement" in Xbox360. They award for multiple races in the series run during the calendar year.
Anyway, can't wait to see what running in the desert cold is like! And maybe taking a hand or two at the tables!

Awesome. I still wish the blogger weekend was the same weekend as this race. SO close. I'd still like to do it one fo these days. I've got a trail half marathon this weekend.
