
CHICAGO -- Decided to spend this weekend outside the A, skipping a lost NLDS game at Turner Field and a nice road win for the Atlanta Falcons by returning to my hometown and running in the
Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Score one for the bucket list.

I ran it in 4:06:39, which is about 20 minutes better than the marathon I ran in March here in Atlanta.
With it I also had my best times for the 20K (12.4 miles) and 30K (18.6 miles) distances.

Amazing job Kat! So do you still have your streak? I could not walk after my marathon let alone run.

Thanks, Peak! Ya, today was Day 1,380 of the streak. I reached marathon race pace in the second mile and then hit 8:16 shortly after. In March, it took me 4 days to run under 11 minutes for a mile after the ING Georgia Marathon.
